Lips often lose volume and become thin as a person ages. Many people desire fuller, plumper lips. This can usually be achieved using fillers such as JUVEDERM™ , Restylane®, or Perlane® in the office and provides immediate results. Fillers can also be used to improve lip asymmetry. For many patients, there can also be volume loss adjacent to the lips starting sometime in their thirties. This can cause folds next to the corners of the mouth as well as changes in the appearance of the chin and lower face. These changes can also be treated by injection of fillers. [This is a common but FDA off label use of fillers]
